Executive Council Member nominations open 1 June


2016 KEY DATES

Executive Council nomination period: 1 June to COB 14 July 2016

Absentee ballot period: 15 July to COB 20 July

Election date: 21 July 2016


The ANZCCJ's strength comes from the continued and active participation from its members.  Nominations for the six [6] Councillor positions currently available on the Executive Council are now open for the 2016-2018 term. 


2016-2018 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

Members wishing to nominate for election for the 2016-2018 term, are asked to complete the Nomination Form. Nominations must be proposed and seconded by full Chamber members, agreed to by the Nominee (by way of signature) and returned to the Secretariat by fax or email by 5:00pm on Thursday 14 July 2016. Early nominations are strongly encouraged.

2016 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

This year's elections and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ANZCCJ) will be held at the Australian Embassy on 21 July 2016.


If you are unable to attend the AGM, you may vote through an absentee ballot.  Absentee ballot papers will be available on our website from 15 July.

3.  Election of 2016-2018 Executive Council members

Proposal to amend the ANZCCJ Constitution (the proposal will be sent as an update at least two weeks prior to the AGM)


Appointing a proxy
A voting member may authorise in writing any person to act as his/her proxy at the Annual General Meeting  The proxy shall be entitled to exercise all the powers for the voting member represented.  There is no limit to the number of voting members that a proxy may act for.

We encourage any members unable to attend the AGM to appoint a Proxy to ensure we achieve a quorum for this important meeting. Proxy forms must be returned to the Secretariat by 5:00pm, 20 July 2016.
