AJBCC Melbourne Conference: Online Registration to Close

Online registration for the AJBCC's upcoming 54th annual Joint Business Conference on the 9-11 October, 2016 in Melbourne will close at COB on Monday 26 September, 2016. The latest conference program is obtainable here. If you are a member of the AJBCC and have not registered to attend the conference, please register.

Registered delegates have already been sent the current list of participants. With almost 400 attendees this will be one of the largest Joint Business Conferences held.

Currently with no direct air service between Tokyo and Melbourne, the number of JABCC members companies who will be attending the AJBCC's Joint Business Conference to be held in Melbourne 9-11 October, 2016 has meant that JABCC members will use a direct charter flight. Already there are over 150 Japanese delegates registered which, together with Australian participants, should see the total number reach 400.

Have you registered?

Registration is required. To ensure your place, you need to register as soon as possible. Register here.

Conference Cost:

There are 3 types of annual AJBCC membership subscription. Each of these subscriptions provides for complimentary participation at the AJBCC conference:

  • nominated [primary] representative
  • additional representative
  • future leaders nominated representatives
Hotel Accommodation: Hurry!

One of the nominated hotels, the Hilton, is almost fully booked. Please ensure that you have confirmed accommodation by booking now.

Also please be aware that it has just been announced that the Socceroos will play Japan on Tuesday 11 October evening in Melbourne. This will place added pressure on available accommodation.

Accommodation: Members are responsible for arranging and paying for their booking on their own account. However, the AJBCC has organised a block allocation and special conference rate for members at 3 hotels in close proximity to MCEC. These are Crown Towers, Crown Metropol and the Hilton South Wharf. The AJBCC conference pages give details of the room types available as well as a direct link to each hotel's online AJBCC conference booking page.

Please be aware that at the time of the AJBCC meeting, in addition to the Socceroos game, Melbourne will be host to a major World Congress and accommodation will be at a premium. This means that members should reserve their accommodation as soon as possible to ensure they receive the special conference rate. (The hotels will progressively release unbooked rooms from the AJBCC's block allocation as the weeks go by.) Members can book now and cancellation charges only apply closer to the check-in date. Please see the individual hotel's terms and conditions for details.

If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to contact the AJBCC.
