ANZCCJ Sports for Business Committee Co-Chairs Matthew Walker and Ian Scott welcome members and non-members to attend our April Sports for Business Committee meeting. 

Join us on the 9th of April 2019 to hear from the New Zealand Olympic Committee on their plans for establishing New Zealand's presence in Japan ahead of the Olympics 2020. The speakers will outline their strategy regarding the ANZ New Zealand House in Tokyo, as well as their plans for sponsorship and sports training. They will also discuss the New Zealand Olympic Committee’s charity partnership with Japanese non-profit ISPS Handa (International Sports Promotion Society Handa). 

Speakers

Sharon van Gulik - Commercial Director, New Zealand Olympic Committee 

Sharon has over 30 years’ experience driving strategic growth, reputat­­­ion, brand experience, marketing and public relations for leading corporate, not-for-profit, FMCG, government and educational organisations. Her experience extends from consulting to senior executive positions in the private sector, and both local and national government. Sharon was CEO of the New Zealand Millennium Office, responsible for leveraging trade and tourism from New Zealand’s unique position as first to greet the new millennium; and was part of the team in the NZ2011 Office working to leverage the Rugby World Cup 2011.

Liz Fitzgerald - NZOC Events and Brand Activation Manager

Stefan Grace - NZ Team Liaison in Tokyo for NZ Olympic Committee and NZ Olympic Travel

Cost: JPY500 for Members, JPY1000 for Non-members to pay at door to cover the cost of light refreshments
