2019 Tohoku Youth Project

Calling for Volunteers and Sponsors!

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (CCCJ) is organising the 2019 Tohoku Youth Project which will be taking place from 3-10 March 2019.

The project is welcoming its 8th year as a way to support the 3.11 affected regions, especially its youth. Young high school students are invited to Tokyo for one week to work in member companies to experience work in Tokyo, while "home staying" with volunteer families. The programme has seen over 100 students that enjoyed this opportunity since its foundation.
CCCJ are looking for participating sponsor companies and home stay volunteers for 2019. If you are able to support or would like more details on this CSR initiative, please contact CCCJ CSR Committee at info@cccj.or.jp or Executive Director Jim Zhang at jim.zhang@cccj.or.jp.
