ANZCCJ Sports for Business Committee Co-Chairs Matthew Walker and Ian Scott welcome members to attend our May Sports for Business Committee meeting.
Join us on 20 May to hear from the Street Rugby Alliance Association.
Street Rugby Alliance Association was founded in 2015, with their first event held during July 2015 in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, . They have since run more than one hundred events across Japan with over 20,000 participants total. The association hopes to bring out happiness in people and wants their events to always be “creating more smiles within the city”. Through their activities around Japan they hope to engage people of all ages and contribute positively to the community through the creation of social incentives, health promotion, and decreasing health disparities. With the 2019 Rugby World Cup being held this year they are preparing more events and have a priority to train more instructors in each region across Japan.
