Japan New Zealand Business Council (JNZBC) Forum
ANZCCJ members are invited to join on Zoom a special Japan Forum hosted by the Japan New Zealand Business Council (NZ Committee) in association with the North Asia Centre of Asia Pacific Excellence, from 3 – 5pm (NZ time) on Wednesday 21 April.
The Forum comes at the beginning of New Zealand's APEC hosting year. It is intended also to facilitate discussion on key topics for business between New Zealand and Japan in preparation for the next JNZBC annual joint conference scheduled for 14-16 November 2021 in Rotorua.
The forum will feature Hon Damien O’Connor, Minister for Trade and Export Growth & Minister of Agriculture, as keynote speaker. The Minister will outline priority areas for the new Labour Government to advance the important trade and economic relationship with Japan.
The Forum will be a chance to meet newly arrived Japanese Ambassador HE Mr Koichi Ito, who has agreed to make some introductory comments along with Dr Linda Wright, Chief Executive, NZ Hydrogen Council, and Mr James Kilty, Deputy CEO of Contact Energy (TBC).
