Would you like to hear some tips for starting business in Tokyo by an entrepreneur who has succeeded in starting a company? Tokyo One-Stop Business Establishment Center, which we call TOSBEC, has been supporting many foreign entrepreneurs every year. This time, with the collaboration with the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ANZCCJ), we will invite a speaker who recently established a company in Tokyo utilising TOSBEC. The presentation will cover tips and personal experiences regarding starting a business as a foreigner in Tokyo. After earning his finance degree, Benjamin’s corporate career led him to senior managing positions in the largest global banks and asset managers across 4 continents over a 20-year period. His strong passion for travelling, and recognising a meaningful business opportunity, he took on a new challenge in the travel industry. After learning industry knowhow and gaining specialist knowledge, Benjamin co-founded Tricolage, a sustainable travel and events consultancy in Japan. By organising his clients’ journey or events in Japan, and reducing, reporting and offsetting its emission, he helps his clients focus on engaging their participants and pursuing their purpose.
