2022 Executive Council & Office Bearer Election

The ANZCCJ Annual General Meeting and Executive Election 2022 was held at Hilton Tokyo on Thursday 24 November. 
 
Five Executive Council positions were put to a vote, with the following successful candidates elected for the 2022-2024 two-year term:
  1. Matthew Walker, AIG Japan Holdings (Corporate)
  2. Ian Scott, Atsumi & Sakai (Corporate)
  3. Dean Daniels, Pullman Tokyo Tamachi (Corporate)
  4. Tim Barnstable, Saputo International Services (AU Corporate)
  5. Sally Townsend, South Australia Department of Trade & Investment (AU Corporate)
 
These Executive Council Members will join the seven continuing 2021-2023 Members:
  1. Fumiko Watanabe – Brainmaid (JPN Individual)
  2. Catherine O’Connell – Catherine O’Connell Law (NZ Corporate)
  3. Masatoshi Kitajima – Commonwealth Bank of Australia (AU Corporate)
  4. Andrew Gauci – Lendlease Japan (AU Corporate)
  5. Kanna Mihara – Macquarie Group (AU Corporate)
  6. Jennifer Sakaguchi – Rio Tinto Japan Ltd. (Corporate)
  7. Donald Roxburgh – Wholesum Japan Co. (NZ Individual)
 
On November 25, the Executive Council met to confirm the appointment of the Office Bearer positions. We are happy to announce that Sally Townsend was appointed for another two-year term as Chair, joining continuing 2021-2023 Co-Vice Chairs Tim Barnstable and Catherine O’Connell. Masatoshi Kitajima was also appointed for another one-year term as Treasurer.
