Andrew Wheatley

Andrew is an experienced marketing and public affairs professional based in Tokyo, Japan with a unique background that mixes business, innovation strategy, legal and corporate affairs skills with more than a decade of pharmaceutical industry experience. He was recently appointed to serve on the Johnson & Johnson Japan Presidents’ Council as the Head of Communication & Public Affairs.

Peter Grasse

Peter Grasse is an awarded producer who shaped the reputation of Asia-Pacific’s most dynamic production companies in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. For more than a decade Grasse has produced some of the World’s most talked- about and awarded commercial campaigns.

Rebecca Thorn

General Manager of The Srings by InterContinental Tokyo. Born and raised in New Zealand, working in hotels/hospitality for 20 years, including over 15 years with IHG. International experience outside of NZ includes Fiji, Australia, UK, and Japan since 2019.

Roberto Esposito

Roberto is a change advocate with over 20 years’ experience working with clients across all three lines of defence to better manage their governance, risk and controls requirements.

Sam Gilbert

Originally from country Victoria, in Japan since 2004. Physiotherapist by trade. Co-founder, co-owner and clinical director of Club 360, a multidisciplinary health and rehabilitation practice with 2 full-time locations in Motoazabu and Higashiazabu, as well as satellite clinics at TMSC and the Bluff Clinic.

Catherine Sibala

Tertiary-level educator (business ethics, wise leadership, business writing), administrator, accreditation lead and researcher at top Japanese business school. Experienced government professional - including as a diplomat in Tokyo - senior analyst at Japanese international consultancy. Professional-level writing and Japanese (JLPTN2), expertise.



Becoming a member of the ANZCCJ will open the door to a host of facilities, services and interests. Membership provides opportunities to meet with visiting Australian and New Zealand government leaders, industry experts and political figures; and attend informative seminars and social networking events.

From formal business functions to business seminars, ANZCCJ events provide the opportunity to share valuable knowledge and experiences. Opportunities exist to participate in conversations and be heard on leading issues that impact your business, as well as the opportunity to promote your business. Members also benefit from briefings on politics, trade and economic developments by the Australian and New Zealand Embassies.
