IFM Investors was established by a group of Australian pension funds more than 25 years ago to protect and grow the long-term retirement savings of their members. Aligned with the objectives of our founders, we prioritise the interests of our investors by focusing on investments that seek to deliver strong net returns over the long term.
We believe investing for the long term also means addressing climate change risk, ensuring constructive labour relations, building diverse and inclusive workplaces and meeting the expectations of the communities where we invest. IFM Investors has been a signatory of the United Nations supported Principles for Responsible Investment since 2008. We aim to reduce the carbon impact of our investments, targeting net zero greenhouse gas emissions across our asset classes by 2050.
Our investment strategies today centre on the ownership and operation of critical community infrastructure, and holdings across four key asset classes – Infrastructure, Debt, Listed Equities and Private Equity.
Operating globally from offices in Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Sydney, Zurich, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, and New York, as at 31 March 2021, IFM Investors manages US$118bn funds under management on behalf of more than 530 like-minded and aligned institutions.
