Fraser Robb

A student from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, Fraser moved to Japan as a DFAT New Colombo Plan (NCP) Scholar in October 2022 to broaden his understanding of Japanese culture, hone his Japanese language skills, and experience firsthand Japan’s unique approach to engineering, innovation and business. In his role as an ANZCCJ Intern, Fraser contributed to the operations team, with involvement in developing the chamber’s strategy and business relations. As an electrical engineering and computer science student passionate about technology and highly interested in international business, Fraser utilised the commercial experience and valuable connections gained through his internship at ANZCCJ to strengthen the Australia-Japan relationship through future collaboration in engineering and industry. In his spare time, Fraser enjoys solo travelling, interacting with locals in Japanese, and “hitting the slopes” during Japan’s winter season.
