Biography

Sally first joined the Australian & New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ANZCCJ) as an Events and Marketing Intern in 2023, where she supported the Chamber’s branding and outreach by producing engaging digital content across newsletters, social media, and the Chamber’s website. During this time, she developed a strong foundation in communications, content creation, and the promotion of initiatives that connect the international business community in Japan.

She later worked at the Australian National University as a Future Student Postgraduate Coordinator, focusing on domestic student recruitment and engagement. Through this work, she gained extensive experience in event management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications across large-scale recruitment campaigns and university events.

Sally has since returned to ANZCCJ as Communications Manager, where she leads the Chamber’s communications strategy and member engagement initiatives. Her work focuses on strengthening the Chamber’s digital presence, promoting its events and activities, and highlighting the achievements of its diverse membership across the Australia–New Zealand–Japan business community.

Alongside her role at ANZCCJ, Sally also serves as Events and Communications Manager at the Australian-Japanese Business Co-operation Committee (AJBCC), where she supports the delivery of high-level Australia–Japan business events and communications initiatives that foster bilateral collaboration and industry engagement.

Drawing on her experience across chambers of commerce and higher education, Sally is passionate about using communication, storytelling, and events to connect communities and strengthen engagement across international business networks.
