Thank you to members and guests for joining the ANZCCJ and the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) at the Conrad Tokyo for a panel discussion to learn how the bank’s values and vision have shaped its transformation.

Following opening remarks from Peter Roberts OAM (Deputy Head of Mission of Australia to Japan) it was fantastic to be joined by Shayne Elliott (CEO) and Mitch Mason (CEO Japan) and to hear from Farhan Faruqui (CFO), Mark Whelan (Group Executive Institutional), Kathryn van der Merwe (Group Executive Talent & Culture) and Antonia Watson (CEO NZ) about how the bank`s strategy of simplifying and strengthening areas, where it can deliver great customer outcomes with strong shareholder returns, is enabling it to evolve and flourish in the long term – both across the globe and here in Japan.
