Kylie is New Zealand's Trade Commissioner to Japan, based in Tokyo with New Zealand Trade & Enterprise. NZTE engages with Japanese business partners & government entities to help New Zealand companies grow bigger, better and faster. Areas of focus for the Tokyo team include food & beverage, renewable energy, tech, manufacturing, health & wellbeing, and ecommerce. Kylie has a long-standing connection to Japan, having attended Miyazaki University on a one-year Monbusho Scholarship. Kylie specialises in leading high-performance teams, including as Chief Operating Officer for New Zealand at Expo Dubai, the New Zealand Investment Attraction Taskforce and New Zealand Major Events. Her private sector experience includes leadership roles at SkyCity Entertainment Group, American ticketing company ETM, the NZ Tourism Industry Association and Millbrook Resort Queenstown.
